Pokemon Legends: Z-A – Season 2 on the way!

After Mega Greninja and Greninjite, now it’s time for Delphox.

Season 1 of Pokemon Legends: Z-A is almost over, ending on November 4 at 9:59 pm PST. Three more “new” Pokemon will be available with Season 2. The new threats are:

• Mega Delphox, which is obtained after reaching Rank S in Season 2 by claiming Delphoxite as a reward.
• Xerneas, which will no longer be banned from Ranked Battles and will have no teambuilding restrictions.
• Yveltal, which will no longer be banned from Ranked Battles and will have no teambuilding restrictions.

This means that with Season 2, all players will be able to use Mega Delphox, Xerneas, and Yveltal in online battles, which will dramatically change the competitive landscape of the game.

Although Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Xerneas and Yveltal don’t have a new Mega Evolution, and they’re also missing their iconic aura abilities, they are still very powerful Pokemon with some of the best stats in the game, as well as signature moves.

Xerneas has Geomancy, which boosts Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and movement speed, whereas Yveltal has Oblivion Wing, which deals damage as a Flying move and also restores Yveltal’s HP.

These can be incredible assets in Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s ranked battles, as movement speed helps Pokemon reposition faster to attack the opponent, stat boosts can make a big difference, and self-healing can make it easier to survive long enough to get KOs.

Both Pokemon also have incredible attack stats, with high HP and defenses, meaning that items like Expert Belt and Assault Vest can be optimal choices for them.
